Dealer at
19 months old in August 2010
Please allow us to
introduce baby Dealer to you. Our pick girl from the lovely
litter between our Cajen and Ace. As an exception to the
rule rather than the norm......she was the puppy that caught
my eye the DAY she was born, wrapped my heart firmly around
her little paw, and did anything and everything as a puppy
to always catch my eye. Fortunately, as much as I tried to
remain objective while evaluating the litter, EVERYONE was
of the consensus that she was an outstanding conformation
pick. And thus she stayed here with her mom and the rest of
the crew at Onyxgold Rottweilers.

In terms
of temperament she is actually quite similar to her
mom and is an enormous licker, bum wiggler and is
cheeky and outgoing beyond belief. If you attempt
to ignore her she will play bow and start barking at
you to gain your attention. She is very very 'full'
of herself. I truly hope that she finds the show
ring 'game' as much fun as her mother did!!
I have little doubt that she is going to be a
substantial girl like her mom. At 17 weeks of age
is sitting at 40 lbs with strong bone and
substance. Her color and markings are a deep
reddish brown and she possesses a darker eye than
her mother does. She also possesses the 'full speed
ahead' full stride trotting movement that her mom
has and I expect that she and Penny will have HUGE
degrees of fun showing together in the future!!!

Now that her full shots are in order we will be starting
show handling classes in preparation for her first show
weekend at the NACA show in Edmonton at the beginning of
June so that she gets a wee bit of experience under her belt
before our National specialty in July!
